Services
We offer in-person sessions at either of our offices in Brooklyn or Hudson Valley, NY, as well as at the client's location. We also offer virtual appointments via Zoom.

Executive Function
We specialize in fostering critical thinking, combatting ADHD, enhancing focus, reducing procrastination, and teaching strategies that encourage goal-directed behaviors. With our holistic approach, clients of all ages can expect a transformative coaching experience that leads to lasting change.
Academic Support
We support students of all ages with academic challenges connected to focus, ADHD, procrastination, organization, poor self-confidence, and anxiety. For many people, academic success becomes possible after executive function challenges are addressed. We specialize in literacy and writing support. In addition to working with clients across long-term challenges, we also support students on short-term goals such as application essays, and Regents preparation.
You've Got This!: The Support Group for Parents with of Children with Special Needs
In this weekly group, offered via Zoom, parents have the option to drop in and:
-
Learn concrete strategies to better communicate with their child, reduce anxiety and frustration, increase emotional self-regulation and more.
-
Share daily challenges they and their child(ren) are experiencing
-
Get answers to questions, that take the mystery out of the educational system and parenting
Navigating Educational Settings
When your child is struggling, sometimes it is because they are not in the appropriate academic setting, or getting enough classroom supports. We have successfully helped familes obtain IEPs (individual education plans), as well as learn how to request the services their child needs. The structures in place to support students are vast, and can be quite overwhelming. Having an educator with 20+ years of experience, to help you navigate the system, can more quickly bring your child the success you know they are capable of.
Emotional Intelligence Professional Learning Series
Emotional intelligence (EI) and executive function (EF) are deeply interconnected, with each supporting and strengthening the other. EI involves our ability to manage our emotions as well as identify emotions in others. EF refers to how we use our working memory, planning, and focus. When we can regulate our emotions, we are better able to perform executive function skills, such as impulse control, which are necessary for success. Some of the topics included in the PL series to parents and educators are:
-
What is Emotional Intelligence and How Can It Help My Students Learn?
-
Creating the Calmer Classroom: Moving Beyond Cozy Corners and Regulation Stations
-
Got Grit?: Educating and Empowering Resilient Students
